“Slut Like You” was debuted live in Los Angeles shortly before the release of the album Truth About Love.
The song is a reversal of traditional gender roles in Western society. While there are many songs and stereotypes about guys going to bars to get girls drunk and bring them home, P!nk flips the script in this song. Here, P!nk is the one looking for a one-night stand, getting him drunk and bringing him home, and forgetting his name (implying she’s slept around so much she can’t remember – or doesn’t care – which guy this one is).
