Damn! This is the edge of her experimental work. This is so good, and it can only get better with time. Well done! Masterpiece.

the ominous vibe I really enjoy. Some sorta desperate melancholy between the border of gentle and abrasive.

So, I definitely liked it in a generic sense right at the first listen. But the more I listen, the more aggressively it becomes an absolute, unique favorite of mine. The atmosphere this album conjures up is surreal… a new + old magic that exists in some self-contained, liminal space. This album is a gateway. And in the characteristic PollyJean way of being astonishingly original, fully self-realized and magical in ways I literally can’t articulate, PollyJean makes new art, and it never fails to completely astonish me. So I listen, and I give my gratitude.

This is the definition of grower. When I first listened, I was disappointed and thought Polly had truly lost it. One week later and I can see all the nuances and idiosyncrasies in her songwriting coming to the fore. Another welcome addition to her catalogue.

This album grows and grows on me. My faves so far are: I Inside the Old Year Dying and A Noiseless Noise.

Amo como esse álbum soa expontâneo, as vozes e os instrumentos não tem muito efeito ou edição, parece que ela foi até o estúdio e gravou o que tava afim

Gorgeous and completely enticing throughout, even superior to LES (discovery album)
