Equal Rights, considered by many to be Peter Tosh's finest studio album, placed him in the luminated company of Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and Curtis Mayfield, and the most outspoken and visionary artists of the mid 70's. It is a masterpiece on any level taken- a superbly innovative document that addresses themes and issues as or more relevant today than they were when the album first exploded into our hearts and minds.
