Biography
Phyllomedusa is a solo project started in 2007 by a musician from Maryland, USA, who calls himself Big Frog. As follows from its name, the project's imagery has a lot to do with frogs and related animals. Musically, Phyllomedusa is a combination of goregrind and power electronics known as gorenoise.
Big Frog has an extensive discography spanning over a hundred releases and has several other projects including Macrophagous Gilled Larvae, Crustacea Zoëa Larvae, Toad Birth, olm, Omphalectoicxanthopsia, and Unconcentrated Faeces Otengeny. All of them represent either goregrind, electronic noise, or related subgenres.
