The first Gilmour/Samson collaboration. Funny thing in one of the documentaries from DG’s Gdańsk release where they talk about it

Most of the shine from Gilmour-era Floyd gets (rightfully) directed towards Sorrow and High Hopes, but I think this one is a firm contender for being in the tier directly behind those two.

This isn't awful but it is comes off like a total parody of their 70s sound. The gospel choir is just ,,,, eugh.

Great guitar work by Gilmour in this track, but really when isn't his guitar work fantastic?
