I did not expect a great album by them by this point and they kicked my ass, great songs. This album could have been released after 2003´s Sleepng with ghosts, they did not age.

You know what? It's a very good album. The old kick ass Placebo died when Steve Hewitt left. But in the post "Battle for the Sun" sound this is maybe their best. No stand out singles but soft, melodic, emo and consistent album. Despite it's almost hour length, I don't feel much need for skipping. I kind of didn't think of it much at first, but now I cannot stop spinning it.

I'm going to be real honest here, I haven't been generally surprised as much with upcoming albums of any artist in the past 3 years until this masterpiece had come out. I was really amazed and blown away with the return of placebo and this album releasing. It is so far my personal favourite album of 2022 or better yet the 2020s so far. Solid masterpiece and one of Placebos best!!!!!!!!!!
