Playaz Circle is a rap duo, composed of rappers Tity Boi (now known as 2 Chainz) and Dolla Boy. Formed in 1997 in College Park, GA. the two rappers created the acronym Playaz which stands for Preparing Legal Assets for Years from A-Z. The duo put all their money together to release their independent album United We Stand, United We Fall. The album featured tracks from Lil' Fate, I-20 and others from the Disturbing tha Peace family. They were introduced to Ludacris by Lil Fate and soon became good friends as they all shared the same dream.

Unfortunately, Playaz Circle ran into bad luck. Tity Boi was shot and Dolla Boy incarcerated. Their career was at a standstill. After hearing their misfortune Ludacris reached out and then signed them. The duo appeared in a commercial with Ludacris for the Two Miles an Hour video; and after many years, finally released their major label debut album Supply & Demand in 2007; featuring the hit single "Duffle Bag Boy" with Lil Wayne. After two mixtapes from Tity Boi, the duo's second album Flight 360: The Takeoff was released two years later in September 2009, featuring the single "Look What I Got".

Since the release of Flight 360: The Takeoff, Tity Boi went on to have a successful solo career, releasing numerous mixtapes and officially changing his name to 2 Chainz. His career has garnered hits such as "Spend It", "Riot", "Birthday Song" and "Watch Out". In 2013, 2 Chainz confirmed work on a new Playaz Circle project but no new music from the duo has been released since.
