During Carti's Rolling Loud performance on March 4, 2023, he unveiled a preview of the track titled 'Rockstar,' which was positioned as the opening song of the set. This composition is anticipated to be featured on his forthcoming third studio album, titled 'Music.'
According to the executive producer of the album, F1LTHY, along with Opium labelmate Opiumbaby, 'Rockstar' was created mere minutes before the commencement of the performance.
Furthermore, Burberry Erry, another artist signed to Opium label, shared a remastered snippet of the song's introduction on his Instagram story on March 17, 2023.
