Originating from different scenes and musical backgrounds, music outfits don't get much more diverse than PLAYMA. A musical meeting of minds between acclaimed Russian producers Davip and Mars, PLAYMA represents a hybrid of creative visions.
With backgrounds in Breaks, Drum and Bass and inspiration from a variety of music including Miles Davis, The Chemical Brothers and Noisia, it was always likely that PLAYMA would have a unique, novel sound.
At the tail end of 2011 the duo signed to Audioporn Records, one of the leading labels in Drum and Bass - and more recently, in the Dubstep scene. In 2012 the world has seen PLAYMA's smashing beats on one of US' biggest dubstep imprints, Play Me, new album by the the mighty Zardonic, a limited edition vinyl by French trip-hop act Chinese Man, and there is much more to come.
