One of my first albums from them and I can say it's one of their greatest works after Daimonion - it's quite atmospheric and not much aggressive, but it perfectly fits to dark night, when driving a car or staring at the sky, or whatever. It's something not clear for me how to describe this release, as I used to think about this as "breaker" of PP's eras - it wasn't counted as old era nor new era. Don't know also how to defend this album, as some people below tend to criticise it, but really, give it a chance after some time, maybe will grow in you? Its lyrics and kind of experimentations with sound are really on top of PP's works. Especially loving "Instead of an Angle" - if someone has an interpretation of its lyrics, share it with me - after all these years I still guess about what this song was. Also "The Present", "Merry-Go-Round-To-Hell", "Abyss", "Dance in the Air". But whole is brilliant.

Nihilistic23, for me quite the opposite, I can listen to IO and AO many-many times again and again. But yeah, surprisingly there are different tastes! (I like the rapidness of this chat, one post every year :D)

it was my first album of them. followed by Daimonion, View From A Throne EP, IO and Eon:Eon. every of these Releases are great...but Kaskade might be the best one for me. (IO and Daimonion are 2nd and 3rd). it has really great lyrics...

It's a very good album, less for people that are looking after club-music, but more for the people that are into intelligent lyrics and experimental electronic music. I actually enjoy this alot more than their early works which you are listening to like 2 times and then never again because they can't hold anyone's attention for a very long time...
