I remember driving almost 5 hours to come see them play back in 2005 (?) and after that venue (in which they were just the opener) someone came up to them as they were packing up and offered them like maybe 100$ to do a house show and a bunch of the people milling around loved to idea as well and so we all ended up with a show that I will never forget; unbelievable fucking energy and great vibes! At the house, Adam Frappolli overheard me saying how far I drove to see them and he freaked out and told everyone in the band & then went on to make me his best friend for the whole night!! In the end I let them all crash at my hotel after we had late-night Steak n' Shake together; literally couldn't ask for a nicer freaking group of guys....they will forever have my respect for that day. <3

thanks! I really didn't expect many people to see it honestly...anyhow, here's a snippet from that house show; instrumental because Adam was tired at this point and just sitting on a couch (hes the one with the denim jacket when the camera pans down for a second) : https://imgur.com/a/BxjHCs9 ...suuuper low quality just fyi, but it gives a glimpse! I have a whole folder of pictures and snippets from it and I dunno, maybe i'll upload it to archive dot org someday...cheers! 🤘🏻

I never got into them for some reason. I remember they were on tour with Atheist in 2009 and my friends & I decided to leave the venue (which was BB King's in NYC) when PsyOpus were getting ready to go up. We went out for some walk around Times Square and socialized for the whole time they were up. We were told they weren't good live. I actually wouldn't have minded seeing them live. Eh, no regrets not seeing 'em. We went back to BB King's to see The Faceless and of course Atheist. I remember I watched a video clip of a PsyOpus live show circa 2006 and I didn't find it that memorable. A guitarist was performing some weird guitar noodling and I thought it was really odd. That's cool if y'all are into this band. I am a way more open-minded nowadays and I'll give this band another chance. Perhaps recommend me an album and I'll gladly give it a listen. Who knows, I might love it!

Is there any confirmation anywhere that they actually have something new coming? I mean, other than what doing a small tour implies.
