The more I listen to this I believe this could be Pulp's finest moment. <3 It is.

The word "love" is too weak to describe how i feel about this song. The lyrics are absolutely incredible and the melody is filled with so much sincerity, love and desperation that it takes my breath away every time i listen to it. Thank you, Jarvis, you're amazing.

I went there again for old time's sake Hoping to find the child's toy horse ride that played such a ridiculously tragic tune. It was still there - but none of the kids seemed interested in riding on it. ... I went there with you once - except you were somebody else ... etc. ...Jarvis, screw the guy I'm gonna meet, marry me <3 :D

You don't necessarily have to be from Sheffield to see how it's possible to love stuff he's talking about ... the water was dirty & smelt of industrialisation ... :) ... 'cause he does love it. <3 But I bet it's fucking great to be from there when you play this song :) Anyhow, master piece, possibly my fav Pulp song. Jarvis is a brilliant story teller and this isn't a song, it's a book. About everything ... city, love, past times, ... ! And the way it's written ... like he's just thinking and writing it down, thinking out loud, whatever. <3 To conclude ... one day I'm gonna meet someone who loves it as much as I do ... and we'll live happily ever after. (lol)
