Biography
Quarto Astral seeks to explore the essence of rock and roll, under heavy influence of the 60’s and 70’s: psychedelia, rock n 'roll and progressiveness with many guitar solos and improvisation.
The lyrics deal with natural and human interferences and their differences, the four universal dimensions, going beyond the reality and mysticism, in English or Portuguese.
In the first EP (2010), this essence is shown in improvising and choosing the type of recording (live), recorded at Studio Lumo, was captured and pre-mixed by Carlinhos Carvalho and mixed and mastered at Studio Casé, with Fabio Case, and in the treatment of musical engineer Peter Noya.
The band has assembled a team of about twenty professionals involved in cultural production chain, interested in collaborating in the construction of this project, with the goal of producing a recording material of high quality, taking the harsh climate and volcanic province Naples, Italy (Reference: Pink Floyd live at Pompeii) to the paradise beach of Paraíso, in the Brazilian tropical esthetic.
Sound engineers, photographers, publicists, journalists were together in this endeavor, investing in this project that is already available for sale in dual format (CD + DVD) and can also be seen on youtube.
