Queen's best album in my opinion, i love every track, first bought the album in 1975, and listen to it regular still.

I totally hear Queen's influence in Judas Priest, especially on ''Sad Wings of Destiny'' I hear a lot of Queen influence on that album.

i don't know how i slept on this album for thirty-six years of my life, but it was a horrible mistake. it's quickly become my favourite Queen album and possibly one of my favourite albums of all time. it immediately grabbed me on first listen and reveals more depth with each new one, and its songs are so infectious that i can never listen to it just once. Brian May feels it's their best album, and who am i to argue with him? i also think The March of the Black Queen/Funny How Love Is may be better than Bohemian Rhapsody (sacrilege, i know). it's so cathartic, and the latter makes me so happy. just a masterpiece of an album. i think it's made me fall in love with music again, after a long period of kind of neglecting it.

This is my favourite Queen Album too, so i want to recommend you something. Do you know the live version of "White Queen" at Hammersmith Odeon 1975? If not check it out, i didn't believe it myself at first, but this live version is even better than the recording on this album.

This has always been my favorite Queen album, I mean first I got the Greatest Hits 1 and 2 as a kid, but when I checked all their albums, Queen 2 was my favorite since I was like 14. And yea this album has such a happy vibe, it's almost heavenly.

Definitely an underrated album. But it's actually one of their best, if not the very best. Such a great development of "Queen I" ideas as well.

It's sad how Queen II is still that obscure, not even Bohemian Rhapsody (the movie) featured songs from this album (correct me if I'm wrong). When I show it to "basic" Queen listeners, they find it too awkward and not enough Queen-ish. I blame it on their 80s hits... (still like that era too, though)

Seven Seas Of Rhye was featured, though incorrectly during the scene where they recorded their demos for their first album.

Não necessariamente. Mas ele tem uns momentos, que lembram bastante progressivo. Diria que é o álbum mais progressivo do Queen!

Yes, this is Prog Rock, Glam Rock, Folk Rock, Heavy Metal, Progressive Metal, Power Metal, Symphonic Rock, and probably a bunch more!

Glad to see this one getting so much love. Definitely my favorite by the band. Being a big fan of Prog Rock, this one grabs me strongly because it's the proggiest of their records and is even more a blueprint for Prog Metal than the debut. Just so many kickass riffs and songs on here, with "The March of the Black Queen" being a highlight, the remake of "Seven Seas of Rhye" making for a blistering coda to the album and my personal favorite "Father to Son" kicking off the album in perfect fashion following "Procession." This one is just awesome from start to finish. Never get tired of it.

Definitely my favorite Queen album. It seems to take you away to a far-off mythical Middle Earth-type fantasy land. It's pure escapism. It doesn't hurt that the songs are of the highest quality themselves individually.

no other album is as perfect as this. you can't just listen to one song. it needs to be played in it's entirety to fully enjoy it. if i had to put it down to my favorite song on it, i'd say that it's the entire black side from Ogre Battle onwards

The best album by Queen without a doubt, and The March of the Black Queen is the best song of Queen by far. [6]

Awesome album. A real masterpiece. My favorites are "Father To Son" and "The March of the Black Queen". I think it's the most complex of the entire Queen catalogue (especially the black side), and one of my favorites (along with Queen I, News of the World and A Kind of Magic). I wonder if it was the commplexity of the compositions what made them change their music style to one more radio-friendly and simpler style. Anyway, if anyone doesn't want to believe in the talent of Queen (sadly, there are still people who call them 'overrated'), they should listen to this album in its entirety.
