I compiled a top 1000 favourite songs of all time in 2006, which was very ambitious of me at 22 years old. My taste in music was still very much forming, so it was a rather naive attempt at the time. This song was at number one. And 18 years later it's still my favourite song of all time.

This song means a lot to me. I've so many memories attached to it. It was the first song I sang solo at my very first musical almost ten years ago, and I've also sung it at one or two talent shows. It's incredibly nostalgic and also reminds me to keep going whenever I listen to it.

The best curtain closer to the legacy of one of rocks greatest singers, frontmen, and bands. That guitar solo, the drama lyrics and Freddie kills rhe vocals holy crap. Impressive considering what he was going through

Holy shit this still bangs so hard. The fatalism and the drama of the lyrics are beyond compare. Not to mention the epic arrangement and guitar solos, just like an exploding finale in a great musical that was also Freddie's life basically

great epic music : the distortion guitar and solo, the bass, the drums, the orchestra keyboards whatever, and the vocals

Very first Queen song I've ever been exposed to, shortly after Freddie had died. My first impression was that I hated it because "why is that man screaming?". A few months later, a friend introduced it to me again and thus I fell in love with Queen and rock music.

Innuendo begins with a monster track, and ends with a monster track. Amazing album!

Great song, but reminds me of my first true love. He used to play it for me as goodbye when we had to part for another month. Bittersweet memories...

"When Brian May presented the final demo to Mercury, he had doubts that Mercury would be physically capable of singing the song's highly demanding vocal line, due to the extent of his illness at the time. To May's surprise, when the time came to record the vocals, Mercury consumed a measure of vodka and said "I'll fucking do it, darling!" then proceeded to perform the vocal line in one take without problems." [2] omg *------*
