This album has to be One of the most underrated albums. It has alot of great songs. This album needs a high score. Alot of points. 8/10

Hm so I guess maybe polarizing is the better term for this album in the past rather than flat out underrated but I'm personally glad to see it on the list of 'albums finally starting to get a turnaround in opinion in the last few years or at least in LastFM shout boxes' because I honestly remember the response to it being tepid at best and I think it deserves better.

Overlooked, underrated, fantastic album. Easily one of my favourites of theirs along with SftD and S/T

LtP has a few really great songs, and a bunch of so-so ones. It was heralding their shift to more radio-friendly compositions that we saw on LC and Villains, but then EV came out of nowhere with it's frantic, dissonant energy that really took me by surprise. Yet it gets so overlooked in the scope of their discography.

Pretty mush underrated album. Sure, it is a feeling that music is trying to picking up a pace too much, but in the end we have 11 quite different songs, which almost 50% of is kills with it's riffs.

Why so much hate? I thought people would love this album because of the raw sound just like the first album. In my opinion their are no flaws on this album. My favorite QOTSA track ever, Turnin' On The Screw, is on this album. This is my second favorite QOTSA album with Rated R at #1.

I love Run Pig Run and Suture of Your Future, but River in the Road is kinda boring. I don't think any of these songs should have been taken off except maybe River in the Road. I think the B-Sides "Era Vulgaris" and "The Fun Machine Took a Shit and Died" should have been added to the album.

Polarizing album among QOTSA fans. May not be their "best", but it's up there. Definitely a favourite of mine. Dirty, dark, gritty, sloppy, drunk - fantastic!

Man, when I first listened to this album, I hated it so much that I could not find one standout track. But after getting used to their style of music by listening to their other albums, I came back to this album again, it is starting to grow on me, and found a few tracks that I felt that were pretty great. Some are a bit lackluster, but an okay album for me. But I'll give it a few more listens. "Turnin' On The Screw", "Sick, Sick, Sick", "Into The Hollow", "Make It Wit Chu", "3's & 7's" and the closer "Run, Pig, Run" are currently my favorites from this. So that's like half the record.
