Biography
R3STL3SS formed in 2007 in Juarez MX, is a hip hop/reggae duo featuring the voices and styles of Esaias Luna aka "Evil Kid" and Sami Padre. The Band is entirely self produced with Padre writing and recording the music. The Band is Known for its High-Energy-Socio-Political Lyrics and quick rythyms. Evil Kid and Padre both rap/sing In Spanish and English which is a great appeal to their fans along the borders of The U.S. and MX. The two met while Padre was Playing a show In Juarez with one of his other incarnations called "Lion Sound" which featured members of the band now Called "The Good Kind". Padre remembers:: "Esa (esaias Luna) was sent as a sort of tour guide/translator for our first time playing in Mexico. As soon as i heard his demo i knew i wanted to play with him. So, i called him up as a guest that night and we have shared that stage every since!"
The Band primarily plays in Juarez and Ciudad Chihuahua mexico and along the borders of the U.S. southwest. R3STL3SS has just Released their second album entitled "Unidad Y Paz" which translates to "Unity And Peace". "We Called It That because That is what we represent and That is what we are trying to bring to the borderlands" says Padre. Their First Album Entitled " No Hay Fronteras" (There Is No Borders) created a solid fan base which continues to thrive and grow.
R3STL3SS is always ready to take the stage as guest vocalist where they are known for improv free style lyrics and high energy. They Have Played with Many Bands on Both Sides Of The Border. Bands Such as "La Cruda Sound" from Juarez,mx "Radio La Chusma" from El Paso tx, "The Good Kind" Silver City nm, and has also been in the line up for dozens of festivals and shows featuring bands from all over the south west and northern Mexico. They Have Recorded in a couple studios in MX, and The U.S. but primarily keep it in house with Padre at the controls in their own" Fire House Studio".
