Biography

Radio INK are the Sydney trio who are living proof that good things do come out of 5am email exchanges. Yes, really. Read on.

When DJ’S Dic Money and Ronny Clark found Miss S early one morning singing in a nightclub, they knew they’d found their princess of the dancefloor. Cue several Myspace chats, and BOOM! A new Australian electro-pop sensation was born - Radio INK.

After recently being flown to LA by Qantas to perform at their VIP Red Carpet Ambassador Party at the esteemed Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel (part of the official G'DAY USA festivities), Radio INK return home pumped and ready to release their brand new single - Who We Are Tonight.

Written and recorded over in LA, Who We Are Tonight is the first to be lifted from their forthcoming debut album. The single was co-written by multi-platinum Grammy nominated songwriter, Shelly Peiken (Jessie J/Christina Aguilera/The Veronicas) and Kojak (Flo Rida/Ke$ha/Katy Perry), and produced by New York-based Diamond Cut (Amy Meredith, Delta Goodrem) and mixed in LA by Joe Zook (Katy Perry/Radiohead/Kelly Clarkson/P!NK).

Miss S, Dic Money and Ronny Clark, now back in Sydney, are ready to unleash the new single. “Spending time over in the City of Angels was way too much fun. We got invited to play a bunch of crazy celebrity house parties in the Hollywood Hills, signed a worldwide publishing deal, played G’DAY LA, and hit Studio City with the creative team behind the new single,” says Miss S.

Since the release of their debut EP, Radio INK have been busy tearing-up dance floors the world over. What does a week in the life of Radio INK look like? Performing private parties for A-List celebrities including Leonardo Dicaprio, The Kardashians and Miranda Kerr, touring Australia playing in the nation’s hottest clubs, and supporting local and international acts like The Potbelleez (AUS) and Neon Trees (USA).

Following the hugely successful release of four independent singles to date – including the Top 40 airplay single, Physical, plus Wish U Were Here, Give Me What U Got, and Rocket – comes yet another hook-driven track from the trio, showcasing a more refined world-class sound for Radio INK’s soon-to-be-released debut album.

March will see Radio INK support Danish pop icons Aqua on their national twelve-date Australian tour, and take their infamous club show on the road to promote the new single. Get ready Australia, Radio INK are ready to bring the house down in 2012.

Radio INK are managed by Jake Challenor and George Said for Billy Blue Music.
