Biography
Raised By Tigers is a collaborative effort between Rob Peters and Jason McMullen. Originally founded by Peters in 2000, RBT hails from the musically vibrant college town of Denton, Texas. After two members left the band in 2004, McMullen and Peters decided to continue as a duo. They retained the name, but took the occasion to explore new material for the two-piece incarnation. After returning from a tour of the Midwest and East Coast in 2005, RBT took a break from live shows to focus on the next recording project. They began recording at Echolab studio in June 2005, recruiting friends and engineers Matt Pence (Centro-matic) and Dave Willingham (Polyphonic Spree) to assist. "LED", the new CD, was completed in late spring 2007, but awaits a formal release. Raised By Tigers is currently playing to promote the recording with a new band featuring Jake Barnhart (Little Grizzly), Pat Ferguson (Deep Snapper), and Nate DeYonker (Dark Meat).
