Rapture Ruckus was a Christian hip hop group from Wellington, New Zealand, signed to Tooth & Nail and Parachute Records. Formed in 2001, the group consisted of rapper Brad Dring, DJ Soane Tonga, guitarist Geoff Duncan and drummer Gio Lesa. Their first album, the self titled Rapture Ruckus, was released in 2002 and gained a large underground following. Then followed the Limited Edition EP in 2005, and their second studio album I Believe in 2006, which won the 2006 Gospel Album of the Year at the New Zealand Music Awards. In 2008 they released a live CD/DVD combo titled Live At World's End, and in 2011 they released their third studio album. Followed was Invader Vol. 1 and 2, then the band started releaseing some electronic genre singles such as Tidal Wave and Keep running. They were regulars at the Parachute Music Festival (now Festival One), and played their last set at Festival One in 2020.
