Biography
Born in the 80 and coming from Barcelona this young artist has a long career as a dj and producer. Since his beginnings in 1995 he has evolved at the same time he deepened in various musical styles. In the 2000 he discovered the musical range who offered the techno, being currently an authentic devote and with which feels identified and thanks to which his audience rewarded him with large doses of dance
Nevertheless, this young artist evolves with the musical market and techno trends and says actually he’s seeing a big future in the minimal techno. Due to this he has created a new alter ego called Ciclofans. Ciclofans aka Raul Mezcolanza shows his minimal side combining with techno according to the demands from the clubs. In front of decks he has demonstrated his professional endowments with a personal style inspired in the techno style. He has shared decks wit artists like, Laurent Garnier, Ben Sims, Kevin Saunderson, Kenny Larkin, Ángel Molina, Cristian Varela, Oscar Mulero, Regis, Adam Beyer, Mark Williams, Paul Mac, Mark Broom, Marko Nastic, Valentino Kanzyani, Eric Sneo, Takkaki Itoh, Dj Preach, Cristian Wunsch, Len Faki, Dj Lucca, Christian Smith, Dj Murphy, Cristian Fischer, Pet Duo, Sven witteking etc. His dj facet is under the influence of technophile artists with the weight of Ben Sims, Joey Beltram, The Advent, Bryan Cox… of whom has been able to squeeze the best, synthesize and create his own ego. Currently has still included in the Dutch booking agency, Adult Booking, which has relied on him after having repeatedly demonstrated their professionalism in the cabin and in their productions.
His techno-hardgroove productions contain rhythmic sounds with a touch of tribalistic elements. The beginnings as a producer where started in 2005 with the Atlantic ep published in Freestyle recordings. Raul is currently editing his own record label Laktic-rec counting with three references in the market and his progress as a producer is not limited to his own label and he is also editing in international labels as Patterns, Pseries, Phot, Adult Records or Relatives Records.
