Red Blooded Women have been picking up acclaim from the likes of Popjustice and Electroqueer with their unique underground style, blowing the traditional girlband model out of the water. At a time when the likes of Lady Gaga, La Roux and Little Boots are riding high in the charts it seems the time is right for credible, classy modern pop music – something RBW deliver.
The girls may have caught your attention last year with 'You Made Your Bed' which was picked up by cult electro label Planet Clique for release. You may have caught their reworking of Depeche Mode's 'Enjoy The Silence' - top 10 in the UK Music Week club chart, and all over The Hype Machine this summer. Or maybe it was ‘Colour Me Dirty’, the Yazoo sampling electro stormer, and one of the more popular and successful mashups with the biggest dance track of the last 12 months – Pjanoo.
