There are two bands named Remainder.
1) Remainder is violent, chaotic, peaceful, and full of joy.

Remainder is a 4 piece band from Boston and providence who have come together to create a band that they can truly enjoy for the love of music and art. This band is all about the hours spent sitting in a suburban driving to a show, meeting new people from all around the world, creating art through the power of noise and the voice, and simply living their lives to the fullest. The band Started out as C'est La Guerre in August 2009 and has had some many changes since then including a new drummer and the change of name. Remainder has recorded a full length called "Set aside your fears", came out with a 3 song ep "LANTERN" and just released their debut full length album entitled "The Frozen World Thawed". Remainder is highly influenced by bands such as Daitro and Saetia and tries to create genuine passion in every song they create and meeting and playing with bands that they never thought they would meet and joining them in a basement, community center, or space and singing along while being packed tightly with a bunch of other kids enjoying the same music. And so the joy will continue….
2) Remainder is a 4 piece DIY band from Washington, DC; Brooklyn, NY; and, as of recently, Braddock, PA. They recorded a 7-song cassette called "One" in 2009.
