Weird... I Love Fleetwood Mac, but I certainly didn't hear this song and think of them. Now I think about it, there is a certain FM like melodic sense. Not saying that makes it better or worse (I do love this track either way), I don't see the Mac connection so many seem to. I guess that's what makes music in general so great, different people can hear different things when listing to the same song (wrap your head around that one haha).

I did a search of 'Fleetwood Mac Rilo Kiley' and I found this thread. So basically, this song reminded me of Fleetwood Mac so much that I immediately made the connection and wondered if someone else did too. And apparently I'm not crazy. It sounds a lot like a modernized FMac.

Influences are everywhere. I hear Steely Dan too. Not like a bad thing don't need to remake the wheel.

I heard this song playing while I was in Babies R Us the other day... was sort of weird, but welcomed. :)

I love all Blake songs, they are like special treats in the middle of the album.

the whamtastic intro is the only thing awesome enough to set up this track- Blake Sennett is the man.
