Beck, Page and Clapton are the only elite guitar players you can think about? Too bad.

Definitely underated as a guitarist. It will be a cold day in radio hell when you hear this gem played.

Trower is definitely in the most unacknowledged, underated category. Check out some of his work with Procol Harum. He is, without a doubt, a ROCK-N-ROLL HALL OF FAMER!

Yeah I agree, really unfortunate that Trower doesn't get a bit more credit these days but he seems to have been eclipsed by the other big names from the '60s-'70s.

WTG MusicMagic77 Robin Trower is very original. Sounds somewhat like Hendrick's on some songs. He is known as the " Great White Hope". Meaning a lot of people think he is Jimi Hendrick in a White man's body. Only musician to really ever be compared to Hendrick so closely. My opinion, he is the Greatest blues player ever. Better then Jimi H, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Page, and even Stevie Ray.

I can't believe that he isn't more popular, I own Bridge of Sighs for a while now, but just recently bought The Playful Heart and both are damn awesome. Are his other albums as good as those two? Can someone recommend me some of his records?

Mr Trower, you're amazing. But please, chose carefully those who are responsible for your album cover art. They truly suck :D

i'm guessing that the low tally of listeners is due to the fact that most of the people who know who Trower is have the vinyl or even cds and listen to him the 'old-fashioned' way LOL....
