Biography
In his latest release, "The Same Mistake,"Rod Lunn travels beyond
his sophisticated pop-rock tunes by highlighting vulnerable Dylan
era songwriting with contemporary emo-dramatic melodies. "The
Same Mistake" is a twisted and more seductive life, leaving you
wondering whether it was a self-inspired story as it was in his first
music literary, "You and I." While his newest LP has a much more
dramatic feel than his first successful record, his unique vocal
performances and signature delivery are unmistakable.
The album includes unforgettable melodies, catchy hooks, and
exciting guitar rifts leading to a climatic build that solidifies each
song. Rod wrote all the songs on this album and strikes his chords
on both the piano and guitar while bringing a superstar cast of
characters to play throughout. The album was produced by Rod
and co-produced by Nash Overstreet of "Hot Chelle Rae" and Ricky Phillips.
To date, Rod's independent projects have sold more than 50,000
copies online and at Borders and CD Warehouse's across the nation.
In addition, his music videos have been featured on MTV and VH1.
