Eno's contribution was important actually. This album however was recorded without him and was superb - even eno said it was the best. Band gradually went downhill after this gem...

@flick let's not get ahead of ourselves ..we all see you're infatuated with brian ferry and he is awesome and all but eno is equally awesome a musician and debately done MUCH more with his career ..ie producing some of the biggest records of all time ..give credit where it is due

Totally perplexed at the number of people who give Brian Eno credit for the vehicle known as Roxy Music. On the first 2 projects he twiddled a few knobs under the Master's guidance, apart for that his creative input was zero, so let's put this myth to bed and leave the credit with The Son Of God ( see photo)

Heard this on Rock Radio the other day and really enjoyed it. I'm a fan of The Aquabats (who are an american ska band) so Ferry's vocals resonated with me a bit, because they remind me of MC Bat Commander's.

When Stranded came out, I was worried what the band would be like without Eno, but the record didn't disappoint AT ALL!! great song.

Wish everybody would leave me alone...they're always calling on my telephone...lol. I remember buying this disc when I was a kid. Roxy Music were a great glamrock band...Bryan was such an unusual frontman and singer. Always very dapper!!!!
