Ruff Driverz were the aliases of British DJ / remixers Brad Carter and Chris Brown. The duo also recorded under the names 2000BC and Transit.
Between 1997 and 2000 the duo scored a string of dance hits in the UK. But two of their biggest hits in that country were also major smashes on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart in the United States in 1999: The flamenco-inspired "Dreaming" (featuring Katherine "Arrola" Ellis and credited as "Ruff Driverz Presents Arrola"), which peaked at #20, and "Waiting For The Sun," which was their highest charting record, peaking at #2.
The single "Dreaming" also reached the Top Ten in the UK Singles Chart.
