The album of the solo project Ryusenkei by Cunimondo Takiguchi has roots in Tatsuro Yamashita, Minako Yoshida, Leon Ware, and Steely Dan, and is a work that focuses on the sound of Rhodes piano and vintage synthesizers.
Cunimondo Takiguchi (Ryusenkei/City Music Tokyo) began his music career in 2003 as a member of Ryusenkei. Before his current career, he used to work in PR for musicians, as well as a clothing brand, a record store, and a live house. Cunimondo Takiguchi released City Music in 2003, TOKYO SNIPER in 2006, and NATURAL WOMAN (a collaborative album with Atsuko Hiyako) in 2009. As a producer, he has produced/arranged music for Hitomitoi (CITY DIVE), Natsu Summer (HAYAMA NIGHTS), Toko Furuuchi (Enough is Enough), and so forth. Under the name Ryusenkei/Hitomitoi, he curated and released a compilation album titled CITY MUSIC TOKYO invitation this year and created the soundtrack for the NHK TV series Talio: Avenger Buddies. He works across a diversity of fields, with music as his principal focus.
