Something new is emerging like a Phoenix in the fire.
With a talent and sound that has captured and exalted rock to new heights; with a sound that seems familiar yet incredible unique and original. Two men stand alone in continuing to push the bounds, yet carry on the traditions that came before them. This is music from the soul, from the place deep within us that awakens us on every level, this is pure Rock N’ Roll…this is SAINT LEGION.
From the moment you hit PLAY, you get a true sense of what the music conveying and who Richie and Rööster really are. The power of music does not take long to strike you and you become immediately “as one” with the music. They inherited music from their older brother, who introduced them to the greats of Rock N’ Roll; in hindsight this proved to be pivotal moment in their life. This was a musical awakening for them, and ended up being an influence that would affect them forever.
Since first playing together in 2008, their relationship grew and evolved into what you hear today. In 2010, SAINT LEGION found early success thru a demo song, however this success also came with a dose of change, rendering SAINT LEGION as a duo. They also found the magic and passion in there music with this change; a change that became the catalyst for what would come to be. Never ones to be swayed or defeated, they kept making music.
A little time has passed and in 2011 SAINT LEGION grew, entertaining fans with a great live show and great music. People kept taking notice, kept connecting with the music and kept dialing in. It would prove to be a great addition to the lineup and that would bring upon their first LP studio effort, countless shows and fans all over.
Through what could be labeled as a heavy labor (debut) album production, the band took the chance to experiment new musical grounds, implementing strings and brass arrangements on a couple of songs which makes the material so much richer and exciting to listen to.
Life is expressed in and through our music, as life progresses and evolves, so do we.
We write music that is about real life, wrapped human emotion and human experiences.
The music comes from the heart and from the soul, capturing what it means to be in this world today. It is about ups and downs, love and loss, joy and pain. The essence of human experience is spiraled in throughout these songs, like DNA.
