From the moment I recently heard "STAH TU ENJAHHH!!" I became a fan. Feels like I've barely been able to put them aside since. Outerlimits has become one of my new favorite albums. Their others are solid, too!

They have a bit unexpected career path. People apparently assume that they began with bubblegummy poppy rock, then slowly moving towards harder sound as in 'Outerlimits'. Not really. They began with pop-rock mostly indeed, but embraced a lot of hard rock/heavy metal influence early on, while retaining the image of pop girl group. 'Queendom' had a lot of speedy heavy metal bangers, despite its innocent album cover and not quite suitable production. Then they abandoned their harder edge in favor of AOR/hair metal approach - only to delve into purer heavy metal again at the end of the '80s (with more 'serious' and rock-ish image this time).

I love them but their cover of Kurenai is legitimately the worst cover i've ever heard.

MIWAROCKS
Sounds Great, we are fans!! Please, check out MIWA. She's a hot long haired METAL SCREAMER!!! The album is called "My Wish Is Your Command" and features Chris Slade of AC/DC on the drums!! It's a little hard to find because it's listed under another artist (Miwa)'s albums. Look for the 3 headed dog in the anime cover. Click here: http://www.last.fm/music/miwa/My+Wish+Is+Your+Command
