“You can’t sit with us” is an electronic-pop and hip-pop track mixed with a retro and disco groovy vibe, performed by K-Pop soloist, SUNMI.
The lyrics talk about how SUNMI is in a love and hate relationship: she’s with a person that she hates badly, but she doesn’t know what to do without them either if they were gone. She hates her lover but still has a soft spot.
The music video mostly takes place in a retro/vintage store presenting the song in a new aesthetic. It begins with SUNMI refusing to forgive her former lover after his repeated calls and messages. When he shows up at her window, SUNMI hit him with a flower pot in the head. Later on, when SUNMI and her friends are at the retro-looking music store, flashing lights and crowds of zombies, led by her ex, suddenly appear. After an intense gunfight between the girls and the zombies, her ex-lover kneels down with a pink ring for SUNMI. At the end, she chooses to forgive her ex by accepting his ring and hugging him tightly.
