Written by Bob Stanley & Pete Wiggs
Produced by Saint Etienne

Recorded Winter 1990/91
Released April 1991 on Nothing Can Stop Us. Also features on the debut album Foxbase Alpha.

Notes The first Saint Etienne track to feature vocalist Sarah Cracknell. It owes a huge debt to I Can't Wait Until I See My Baby's Face by Dusty Springfield. Kylie Minogue covered Nothing Can Stop Us in the mid-90's.

"It was the first one where we could say 'yes, we've written a proper song'. The first time we'd made a record as good as the ones we listened to." (Pete Wiggs, 2009).

"The structure is the same as Eye Know by De La Soul, a song that essentially has an instrumental chorus. I've tried to explain this before and it comes out as 'it rips off De La Soul which obviously it sounds nothing like! We thought, if we can make a record as good as Eye Know we'll be doing pretty well." (Bob Stanley, 2009).
