Sam Lakeman (born Samuel Charles Lakeman on 6 November 1975) is an English folk musician, songwriter, and producer and co-owner of Charcoal Records. He was a member of folk bands The Lakeman Brothers and Equation. Lakeman (piano/keyboards) started out performing with his brothers Seth Lakeman (fiddle) and Sean Lakeman (guitar) as The Lakeman Brothers. In 1995 the brothers formed the group Equation with singers Kathryn Roberts and Kate Rusby.
