1. Sanctus was a death/black metal band from Southern California that existed (approximately) between the years of 1996 and 2004. They released a full-length album entitled "Aeon Sky" through Metal Blade Records in 2000. In 2004, Sanctus released a self-financed EP entitled "Fateshifter". It was soon after that release that the band broke up.
2. Sanctus is a choir from the southern part of Sweden. Director is Rebecka Nilsson. Hanna Norman is the previous director.
3. Sanctus was a NWOBHM band from London, UK formed in 1981. They released two demos: "Thy Disciples" in 1982 and "Gates of Sorrow" in 1983. They played a couple of gigs and split up in 1983.
4. Sanctus is also a Symphonic Metal band from the Philippines. In 2009, they released an EP entitled "Path To Eternity".
5. Sanctus is gothic metal band from Lipetsk, Russia.
6. Sanctus is a speed/thrash metal from Coon Rapids, Minnesota,formed in 1990. They released one demo, "Done With Reliance" in 1993. They later underwent a name change and eventually broke up in 1996. It seems that the band is mildly active occasionally appearing on popular YouTube channel "The-Art-Of-Guitar" (guitarist Mike Geronsin being the owner of the channel).
