J'aime la Vie is the debut album by Sandra Kim, released on 21/11/1986. Half a year after her victory in the Eurovision Song Contest in Norway. The album comprises 4 singles, the title song J'aime la Vie, successor Tokyo Boy, Sorry and the last single Laurence (an ode to her girlfriend). Also on the album is the song Liberté Sandra sang that song for Belgium on the World Song Contest , held in Japan (oct '86) Sandra was shared 4th and won a gold award. The album ends with Je Sais Pourquoi, a song from the TV film Les Fripiats (dec ' 86). Sandra plays the role of Bénédicte.

Sales figures: In Belgium 65,000 pieces and remakable the album was very succesful in Turkey 75,000 pieces

There is also a Japanese version of the album titled (in Japanese characters), Akogar or translated 'desire'
