@Yotimi, I can easily agree. This album is grand. Their other ones disappoint me.

Great album from start to finish. Here's an old review from my blog - http://ctheh.com/albums/say-anything-is-a-real-boy-2004/

3-4 years ago, this album was constantly blaring through my headphones. As cliched as it sounds, it really helped me through a lot and helped me figure out who I really am.

this album entered my life during a period when i was forced to deal with and acknowledge a mental illness that i'd painfully delt with alone throughout my life, culminating to the point where i, much like max himself, suffered a mental collapse as a young adult. not only did this album help me accept my disorder, it made me extremely proud of who i was and how it had shaped me as a person throughout my life. no longer was it going to hold me back, no longer was i to be the alienated, confused, sad sorry shell of a person i once was, i was going to be proud and thankful for all the insights it had given me into the world and into myself. i doubt if ever again i'll be as deeply moved, or shaken quite as hard by a piece of music. it helped me want to live life again, no longer in fear or anxiety, and i'll remember this and the feelings it churned up in me until the day i die.

one of the handful of albums I can say changed my perception on the world and taught me more about myself than anything since or before.

Admit It! still makes me laugh. It reminds me so much of like 50% of the people who hang out at one of my local coffee shops. Fking hipsters.
