Attacks on pseudo-bohemians existed long before "hipster" became a popular meaningless negative stereotype. This song has about the same vocabulary as "La Vie Boheme", which came out around 1994-1996. Heck, I'd even call it similar to Teenage Cool Kids' "Write Back Soon", but for some reason this just falls flat to me. I like the rest of the album, but Admit It!!! just fails me as a closer.

@Enterim: Too bad this was made long before hipsters took over...So, quite actually, it was an attack towards the faceless mob who attempts to constantly be "first" at everything, or to simply be the "non-conformist" individualist whom is accompanied by every other "non-conformist." I'm pretty sure Say Anything could care less if they're passé now. Infact, I find that to be so atrociously ironic that you dared to phrase it like that. They weren't follow a trend-basher to make a few bucks, they were sincerely annoyed :]. But I do respect your right to your opinion, some people don't get it, some people get offended. Shit happens.

Sometimes when I listen to this, I think of other people. Sometimes it makes me think of myself. It's fucking great.

I will love these lyrics forever. [11] "I worry about how this album will sell because I believe it will determine the amount of sex I will have in the future." For some reason that is probably my favorite line.
