"Atlantis" is a song by British duo Seafret, serving as the lead single of their debut album, Tell Me It's Real. The song is about a reluctant breakup. The legendary island of Atlantis was said to have been a powerful kingdom before it sank into the sea. Jack Sedman compares the doomed island to their unstable romance, which was destined to fail. He and his lover put a lot of work into their relationship only to see it torn down as Atlantis was.
One month later of its release, a music video was dropped, showing that the song talks about losing your innocence and growing up to face the “real world”, where not everything is always alright.
