"Bidi Bidi Bom Bom" is a song by Selena, which became her second number-one single, taken from her album Amor Prohibido. While most of her songs were written by others (most notably, her brother A.B. Quintanilla), Selena co-wrote this song. This was also one of Selena's favorite songs. "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom" won as 1995 "Song of the Year" at the Tejano Music Awards, one of seven awards the artist received that year. The song also was included in the posthumous release Dreaming of You. In 1994, with this single, Selena became the first performer to achieve three number-one hits in the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart in the same year, not only did she achieve this, but she would go on to have a fourth number-one hit that same year. The single debuted at number 30 in the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart in August 13, 1994, while her previous single "Amor Prohibido" was falling from the top spot to number 4. The track climb to number 10 the next week and peaked at number 1 on October 22, 1994, spending four weeks at the summit. "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom" re-enter the chart on April 15, 1995 (the week after the singer's death) at number 6, while her single "No Me Queda Mas" also re-entered at number 5.
