After being born on the 5th of August 1991, Melle Bakker lived throughout the whole world in which he got in contact with many different styles of music. From Classical, Hip-Hop, Pop, R&B to Trance which he discovered back in the Netherlands. All these styles were to be combined in his own style house which he started in 2006. Gradually Melle started to love melodic House & Trance more and more. In 2007 he started under the artist name Setrise, which stands short for Sunset to Sunrise. The style of Setrise to combine house with emotional tunes is something that Setrise is still widely respected for. Besides the more calm side of Setrise, there is also a trance side which stands for melodic but yet techish trance. Setrise has played his own style in many Dutch clubs and various big events. Production wise Setrise’s Sunset to Sunrise Recordings has grown up to a top progressive & trance label after starting in May 2008. Currently with tracks supported by Markus Schulz, Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten First State, Orjan Nilsen, Andy Moor, Nic Chagall, ElSandro, Ruben de Ronde, Andy Duguid & others we are sure to hear more of the name Setrise/Sunset to Sunrise.
