Biography
Shimura Curves are a band from London, England, with a revolving line-up comprised mainly of Masonic Boom, (ex-The Lollies), Anna, Marianna, Miss AMP, Lisa, Frances and Ed. Laptop backing tracks, live guitar, bouzouki, intricate harmonies, co-ordinated dancing and poignant/ surreal lyrics abound.
The song "I Capture The Castle" was featured on the Truck Festival 9 Compilation earlier this summer, their first single, 'Stronger', was released on 7-inch vinyl on Brainlove Records in September 2006, and the song "Noyfriend" has been featured on the Kids In The Club compilation on How Does It Feel Records.
First album, "A Brief History Of Tomorrow" rumoured to be coming out on Echo Range Records in "late 2009".
