Biography
Shinji Yamashita is an artist from Japan who makes ambient music with an Eastern flavour. His work has been compared to Tangerine Dream, Global Communications and the more melodic work of Controlled Bleeding. The Kanashimi EP is he's first commercial release and is a collection of tracks, which are influenced by interest in the traditional theatrical performances such as Kabuki and Nou.So. Shinji's music is a unique and mystical beast.
