All members are from Rimbo and Norrtälje, a couple of miles north of Stockholm - the capital of Sweden.

In the fall of 2006 Albin Fröjd (bass), Fredrik Nilsson (vox), Niklas Henry Karlsson (guitar) and Simon Kolström (drums) started the pop/rockband Shotgun Crackers.
- The name turned out by coincidence.
In 2007 when Jonas Lundin (guitar) joined the band things started to get serious and they recorded their first EP “Music, march now!”. The EP was pressed in one ex only and got thrown out in the audience at their first gig – Unfortunately the CD got split in two….
During the summer the same year Sebastian Ganz (keyboards) were added to the band.
Jonas left the band in 2008 and was replaced by Gustav Bladlund (guitar/vox) Since 2009 Jens Broström (percussions) is in the band aswell and he has also produced most of their records.
Four years and seven EP’s later Shotgun Crackers began recording their debut-album “Young Corleone”. The album is expected to be released before summer 2010…
