Beautiful, airy, while also being much darker than the rest of their catalogue. The use of brass throughout is superb.

Each album is different on its own. This one is certainly heavier, darker, more experimental and not as uplifting as Sigur Rós usually is. Nonetheless - it is my favourite. It sort of speaks to me more than any of their previous works.

Wish overall the album was heavier, twas a good direction for them. Still a lot of great songs/moments.

I know this is pretty shameless self-promotion, but if you're into ambient/soundscapes/etc., you might like my new release, Summer Ghosts. It's ambient music inspired by amazing talents like Sigur Rós, Jonsí & Alex, Brian Eno, Tycho, and more, so check it out if you'd like! You can find both of my releases at https://bestghosts.bandcamp.com/. Have a good one.

The sound of a band getting their fangs. A colder, angrier release than anything previously. Masterful.

It has some of their best songs. Funny how that can be said about all their albums.

I personally rank this as Sigur Rós' best work along ( ). Both are flawless and nothing short of amazing!
