.. One of Denmark’s most acknowledge singers and performers releases his second album - yet his first as a solo artist. Simion is a sensitive person who honors the power within music and has dedicated his life to be a singer, songwriter and performer. With more than 1000 performances in Denmark he is known as a great performer, entertainer and most of all - for his warmness in his voice. He delivers his songs on a personal level, that each time becomes a unique experience for the audience. Simion grew up with his dad, who in the 60’s and 70’s was one of the most respected jazz pianist in Denmark. This environment gave Simion the taste for music and at the age of 9, Simion started playing drums and slowly he started to play the piano as well. Later on, at the age of 13, he started to sing. With more than 6 years of vocal training, including classical, pop and rock techniques, he turned to theatre and participated in various major productions in Copenhagen. In 2000 he was also invited to perform at the BBC Radio 2 in UK . Meanwhile he continued writing songs and performing as a solo artist in Denmark. One of Simion’s songs was released by Unicef in Rumania in 2006, as a beneficial song for kids who has HIV, which is a cause Simion feels strongly about. He was also invited to perform that song at a national beneficial TV show in Romania the same year. Most songs are written by Simion in collaboration with established writers from all over the world. It includes writers who has been writing songs for other chart topping artist around the world. Among others: Pamela Oland (Whitney Houston), Charles Pierre (London Beat), Jeanette Olsson (Kelly Rowland, Kate Ryan). The album also includes a new, breath taking cover version of the no 1 hit ”Sign Your Name” by Terence Trent D’arby, from his 1988 acknowledged album ”Introducing the Hardline According to Terence Trent D’Arby” - selling more than 8 million copies.
