There are multiple artists called Simpleton.
1. Simpleton is the solo project of Dutch singer, songwriter and indie musician, Chris Berendsen. Inspired by bands such as The Strokes, MGMT and The Wombats, Simpleton makes both guitar-driven indie rock and synth-based alt-pop. Simpleton's début single, 'Light the Fuse', was released in May 2023.
2. Simpleton was Christopher Harrison, a dancehall and ragga muffin artist from Jamaica. He passed away in 2004. He was best known for songs including Walk With Yu Friends and the much-sampled Coca-Cola Bottle Shape.
3. Simpleton is an indie / punk / alt-rock band from Portland, Oregon, United States.
