Bold rebelliousness. Siouxsie conveyed her truth here, bare and raw as it may seem. It's one of the best albums in British Punk. Influential on various scales. Fashion, behavior, anyway. The Banshees came in kicking the door.

I generally think that they got better as they went - yes I love their later stuff. This album is a bit of an exception, though. It's better than "Join Hands", and at least as good as "Kaleidoscope".

Absolute masterpiece; highly recommended. Out of all the albums this is by far the quintessential listening. ♥ ♥ ♥ [2]

This record blows anything the Yeah Yeah Yeahs done in their whole career out of the water. Also, funny how even though they obviously ripped off every single second of this record, I just can't enjoy (nor tolerate) their music.
