Biography

There are at least two bands who have used the name Sirensong (as a single word):

1) Adam Buhler produced and released two EPs and a single as Sirensong, with vocalist/lyricist & co-writer Michelle Poppleton, between 1993 and 1994. The debut was an eponymous three-track release, followed by The Cruelty of Children the next year, which garnered some minor college radio airtime for "Litany." Both were released on his own Boston, MA-based Castle von Buhler label, which also had issued an AIDS benefit compilation, Soon, between the two Sirensong releases, which also featured "Litany." One last song, "Soapbox," was released on another CvB compilation the same year.
Adam continues to maintain a webpage for his ongoing projects at www.adambuhler.com.

2) Sirensong formed in early 1994 between guitarist and vocalist Damon Johnston, drummer Terry barton and bassist Ray Tracey. The East Texas based band from Longview Texas musical influences are Nirvana and Alice in Chains and can be heard in their unique sound. The clean tones and raw distortion of the Grunge trio from East Texas can be heard in tracks off their first studio CD Survivors Can't Pretend as well as their second CD Relics and a upcoming third CD soon to released. The band recorded both Survivors Can't Pretend and Relics at Encore Studios in Nacogdoches Texas.
