In “2055,” Sleepy Hallow reflects the problems in his life and attempts to escape them in an ambient vision of the future. The track’s animated music video matches its futuristic aesthetic, set in an extraterrestrial form of New York City—the fantasy Sleepy escapes to when stressed.
In July 2021, the song debuted and peaked at #87 on the Billboard Hot 100. A remix featuring Coi Leray was released later within that same month.
